Art at Gallery North

Welcome to Gallery North

Gallery North is a community gallery in the heart of Hailsham.  We were established over 20 years ago and are proud to still operate as a voluntary not-for-profit organisation.  We exhibit a wide range of art from resident and guest artists at various stages in their careers from across Sussex and beyond.  We accept submissions of work rendered through painting, photography, ceramics, printmaking, textiles, installation, collage and sculpture.

Hailsham Festival 2025

During Hailsham Festival 2025 the Gallery will be hosting a Children’s Arts Exhibition and over 30 exhibiting artists inc David Armitage, Sarah Lawson, Graham Binks and Jodie Drew in the ‘OF SUBSTANCE’ exhibition of 2D and 3D sculptural works.

Carnival Mask Making, paper lantern and flags workshops will also feature as part of the festival.

Our Education and Outreach Programme supports local schools and art groups, and runs classes and Wellbeing Through Art workshops.
