Children’s Lockdown Art

‘Ankylosaurus by Oscar, aged 5 (with a bit of help from Grandad!)’

We know that many children have been busy creating all kinds of art during the Coronavirus Lockdown.

Hailsham Festival would like to encourage children up to the age of 14 to send us up to 2 photographs of the art they have created.

Dougal’ by Millie, Aged 8

We will publish the photos on a special Lockdown Art page on the Hailsham Festival Website where they will be available for everybody to look at until the end of September.

The images might be rainbow themed to celebrate our brilliant NHS and Key Workers or completely free of any theme like the dinosaur above  – the only rules are that the art should have been inspired by or created during the months of Coronavirus Lockdown (February – July, 2020).

War Child’ by Millie, Aged 8

We have recently extended the deadline for entries to August 23rd.

This is a free project offered by Hailsham Festival to celebrate the amazing creativity of our children.
