Crow – Forgotten Names
£60.00
An original  two block linocut print.  With this print I wanted to explore the language and the old words around crows. The forgotten words of old dialects and regional nicknames are fascinating and used often about birds. This print was exhibited at The Sussex Contemporary Exhibition 2022.

Lamb House/Mallards, Rye
£40.00
This is an original linocut print from my Exhibition at The National Trust property Lamb House in Rye in 2022. The linocut prints feature the houses of Rye which were immortalised by the author E F Benson in his Mapp and Lucia books. Lamb House, which is now a beautiful National Trust property, was “Mallards” in the books and this was where Mapp and later Lucia lived.

Jackdaw at Cafe
£30
The Holywell Cafe sits below the chalk cliffs at the Meads end of Eastbourne and looks out over the sea. The trees house a large colony of clever Jackdaws who make fine company when enjoying a cup of tea at the cafe!

Rook with Key
£20.00
In this corvid inspired artwork I have used gold ink to add highlights to the key which the rook is carrying.
I was inspired by the local friendly rooks which have become quite tame. Their regal bearing has a mysterious fairytail feel making it easy to see how they appear so often in folklore and mythology.amandacardosoprintmaker.com
