Scottish Artist Living and Working in Sussex

I have painted Scottish landscapes in oils for more than thirty years so moving to Sussex has been an invigorating challenge.

Now, I am discovering the beauty of a different countryside with an entirely different geography and light.

I have also moved into watercolour and acrylics as well to complete the change.
Since moving south, I have engaged with the Sussex art scene in many ways:

running workshops, supporting festivals and joining local cooperatives.

For 3 years I was part of the artist cooperative in Eastbourne known as @The Makery

Since the lockdown, I have been working on larger pieces in oil and smaller work in mixed media.
