Lyn has dabbled in writing for most of her life.
She nearly always got a gold or silver star for her weekly Compositions at school
Her first publications were in magazines and 12 books of collections of short stories and poetry.
Most of her short stories have a twist in the tale.
She has won several prizes for her stories.
Lyn enjoys entering competitions. She has won prizes for her original recipes, including The Good Housekeeping Millenium menu, BBC Chef of the Year Competition, runner-up, Observer Food & Drink Magazine 1 of 3 runners-up, Fruits of France recipe, Ocean Spray Cranberry recipe, Bernard Matthews Rustle up a Recipe competition, Dorling Kindersley Autumn recipe, Semi-Finalist. Masterspud. She was one of three finalists in the BBC One Show Spag Bol Competition, making her the UK Spag Bol Queen!
Up to now, Lyn has 10 books published online.
She has recently changed Publishers & her new Publisher is really encouraging her writing.
There will be another book published soon after this one.
It’s a Cookery Book, due out in May.
Then her collection of Short Stories will be out in June.
