All works are acrylic ink and sepia conte pencil on watercolour paper, on board.
These works were inspired by a visit to Birling Gap in January 2026.
There had been heavy storms and almost all the beach had been stripped of its pebbles.
It was an extraordinary sight.
The following day there was a cliff fall and the steps to the beach were closed. These pieces are my response to that.
