Come along and join in, or just listen to, this lively debate about a subject on which everyone has an opinion! There is no doubt that our planet is subject to Global Warming as a result of Climate Change. If it is here to stay, we have to either try to counteract it, or alternatively adapt to it. Has it all been our own fault? Or is it just a natural progression that may reverse again? There will be a couple of speakers to start off the debate, then it is open to all to say what they want on the subject.
This debate is being run by the U3A Discussion Group who meet monthly to discuss a previously-planned topic. Their meetings have continued via Zoom during lockdown, but there is nothing quite like a “live” version, on a subject that is very topical.
Light refreshments will be served. There is no charge to attend but as numbers are limited please book your place by emailing email@example.com Please mark the subject, “Festival Debate”. Doors open 2.15pm
