Wednesday 9th and Wednesday 16th September, from 10.00am – 12.00pm, The Pumpkin Patch, St. Mary’s Walk, Hailsham, BN27 1AF. £20pp includes both sessions and cyanotype materials. Further fabric may be required to complete your item, available to purchase from the shop

A hands-on adult workshop exploring the art of cyanotype printing on fabric. Guided by an experienced tutor, you’ll use natural materials to create your own sun-printed design and then transform your piece into a personal and unique finished item in the second week. A fun and inspiring way to experiment with creativity,  texture and design.

 

 

Tutor, Karen Wintle MA(Ed), BA(Hons), C(Text)LTI

Karen has enjoyed a successful career as a teacher of Secondary Design and Technology, leading various departments and specialising in textiles. 
 
Karen was recognised by DATA (Design and Technology Association) for an Excellence in Design Education award and has worked as a visiting lecturer at University of Brighton. 
 
Karen has taught Adult Education classes from beginner to advanced levels. Her focus is technical technique and sharing skills that are transferable to a range of design and make activities.
 
More recently, Karen has been involved with local dance and theatrical groups, making a range of costumes for stage.
