Centre Excuse
Adrenaline fuelled live performances combined with danceable rhythms, intricate layers of synths, raging guitars and infuriatingly catchy lyrics have become the hallmark of Centre Excuse, a UK 2-piece emanating from England’s smallest county, Rutland.
Lead by Eastbourne born Teddy Lewis, their original sound, crafted through fusing their own unique style with the excitement of the 80’s new wave movement and the raw energy of rock, has seen them in the vanguard of an emerging breed of underground electronic artists.

“There’s some songs which come along that grab your attention straight away… shades of Depeche Mode and Tears For Fears, I really like this.” – Wyatt Wendels, Planet Rock

“They have a brilliant edge… The Cure for modern times” – Alex Baker, Kerrang Radio

“Powerful stuff from Centre Excuse, I’ve seen them live a few times and they really do emulate that, when gigs are back get yourself to a Centre Excuse gig as they really are sensational” – Dean Jackson – BBC Introducing

Current Centre Excuse Line-up Formed in July 2017 are;

Teddy Lewis – Lead Vocals / Keyboards / Bass & Lead Guitar and programming
Alex Rush – Keyboards / Percussion & Backing Vocals
