Singalong – Bugsy Malone
September 11 -6:30 pm - 9:00 pm
Doors open 6.30pm. Film 7.00 – 8.45pm
Back by public demand!. Writer-director Alan Parker’s feature debut Bugsy Malone is a pastiche of American movies, a musical gangster comedy set in 1929, featuring prohibition, showgirls, and gang warfare, with references to everything from Some Like It Hot to The Godfather. Uniquely, though, all the parts are played by children, including an excellent if underused Jodie Foster as platinum-blonde singer . Hailsham FM are proud to present this multi-award winning film as part of the Festival.
Not only can you singalong– you could also come along in fancy dress to really get in the mood. There will also be a prize raffle during the fun evening which offers wonderful entertainment for the whole family.
Ticket prices: Adult – £6.50. Children under 15/Concession – £5.50. Tickets are available from the Pavilion Box Office, George Street, between 10am – 4pm, Monday – Saturday.
