The Virtual Art Gallery began life as a lockdown project in 2020. We decided to continue with it and you can see the work which local artists have uploaded here.

Creative Writing Competitions

Once again we invite children and adults to submit poems and short stories to our anuual competitions. All entries will be included in our annual Anthology (unless entrants opt out) and there are prizes for the winners.

Children’s Art Exhibition

A free exhibition of art created by Hailsham school children. Winners of this year’s children’s art competition will also be announced on Sat 7th at 3.30pm.


Art and Discovery Trail

The Art and Discovery Trail has always been a major part of the Hailsham Festival. This year the Hailsham Artists Network and friends invite you to come out and visit artists and makers once again at various different venues in Hailsham and surrounding areas.

Opening Celebrations – Saturday Morning, September 7th

Come along to Vicarage Fields in the centre of town and visit the weekly Saturday market where entertainment will include a presentation by Holford Dance Studios, Face Painting with Lilipops and children’s crafts with Crafty Annie.
