To open this year’s Hailsham Festival, we’re bringing something rather special — and rather large — to the town centre.
Come along and meet Bumble the Brontosaurus, who will be roaming Hailsham High Street with his prehistoric chums for a joyful street celebration packed with family fun. There will be dinosaur walkabouts, magical surprises, music, and plenty of festival atmosphere as the High Street comes alive for the day.

Inspired by our dino-friends at the Festival Street Celebration, come and make Prehistoric themed arts and crafts at Gallery North - free family fun.
No booking required, but spaces will be limited. The Gallery will operate on a first-come-first-served basis.

You will use the instruments you create at the Make Music event the following Sunday, September 13th

Create your favourite food inspired clay figures at BELLE'S POTTERY from air dry clay and paint & take home them the same afternoon. Tuition & guidance included.
A hands-on adult workshop exploring the art of cyanotype printing on fabric. Guided by an experienced tutor, you’ll use natural materials to create your own sun-printed design and then transform your piece into a personal and unique finished item in the second week. A fun and inspiring way to experiment with creativity, texture and design. Sponsored by Knockhatch Adventure Park.
Paint & Sip is co-hosted by Claire Piper at Completed Studios and Rachel Nicol at Off The Line Vineyard. We aim to create the opportunity to allow people to unwind and relax with a glass of locally produced wine and explore their creative side! Guided by Claire who is visual artist, illustrator and facilitator the class is open to all levels of ability. The vineyard is the perfect spot to relax and paint.
There'll be clay-fulls of fun in this drop-in clay workshop led by Ceramic Artist Nova Cookson.
