ART versus TECHNOLOGY
Come along and enjoy a lively debate looking at whether the modern technology methods of producing Art conflict with the creative artists who produce the most wonderful works without the use of computers, purely with a brush and canvas.
Also, computer enhancing of photographs has put into question the old adage “The camera never lies”.
There will be a panel of speakers putting both sides of the question, then the debate will be opened up to the House for further discussion. Come along to take part, or come to just listen if you wish. It should be fun; any unruly behaviour may result in the participant being rejected from the hall, but we are looking for a good-natured well-informed debate. (Unruly behaviour from artists? – perish the thought!! ) Reserve your seat as numbers are limited. Light refreshments will be served. A small donation towards the hall and refreshments will be welcomed on arrival.
Book tickets from Pam on 01323 844020.
