Sunrise

This picture was created by felting coloured wool. It is a slow process and the results are somewhat haphazard but in this case it worked well. I use the local Downs as an inspiration for much of my work.

Bluebell Wood

This painting was created by applying gutta, a resist medium, to silk fabric. When the gutta is dry the silk paints are added. English bluebells, silver birches and spring sunshine are always heartlifting!
